How Guardian Started
Guardian Property Management honestly started as just a side gig. I was presented with the opportunity to manage 4 properties in Detroit Lakes back in 2020, and we started building from there.
We took over units for frustrated owners who were having communication pain points with their current property manager. I also kept seeing expense line items creep up on owners while rents stayed flat. The most common issues? Communication breakdowns and property managers not filling units.
We're a small company with 91 units right now, but we're different in a few key ways: our occupancy percentage stays high, we hire staff who genuinely care about the well-being of the properties we manage, and we give our owners their time back.
Peace of mind is a huge portion of what Guardian is. Your asset will always receive the highest level of care — since I'm an investor myself, I know exactly the importance of well-maintained units. Jory White
As an investor myself, I understand what's at stake when you trust someone with your property. These aren't just buildings — they're foundations you've built for yourself and your family. A truth I live every day alongside my wife Emily, our baby girl Linkynn, and our two pets, Indie and Tetra.
We're building Guardian with God at the center. I'm grateful to steward what He's provided me, and that means serving property owners with integrity, care, and excellence in everything we do.
Home: Valley City native, living in the Fargo area for the past 7 years.
When I'm not working: You'll find me snowboarding, golfing, playing just about any sport, or watching the Minnesota Vikings break my heart.

I joined Guardian Property Management in February 2025, and after my first year, I can confidently say I'm truly proud of the authenticity and integrity of this team.
With a long background in hospitality, I'm passionate about making others feel seen, heard, and cared for. We strive to keep communication open and clear, and we want our owners to know we treat their properties as if they were our own.
The trust we've built with property owners—and the growth we've experienced over the past year—is a true testament to that commitment.
When I'm not working: I enjoy practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, flying with my husband Kevin, and relaxing with our cats, Vader and Leia.

I come from a background in property management and marketing, along with several years running my own freelance videography business. During that time, I've helped brands grow their presence, connect with the right audiences, and scale in a way that lasts.
I'm big on building marketing that doesn't just look good—but actually works.
Outside of work: I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend Margarita (she's been holding it down with me for 5 years now). Otherwise, you'll find me playing the newest RPG, watching a good movie, checking out a distillery, or hosting a get-together (Halloween is our signature).
